In July 2012 the Windmill was inspected by the District Council and was awarded the Food Hygiene Rating of 4 (Good). The Certificate is proudly displayed over the chimney on the ground floor of the mill. This means that the flour has been milled in a hygienic location and therefore is fit for human consumption. We hope you will buy our flour and follow the recipes given on the Society web page. Please remember that stone ground flour should always be sifted before use.
